₰ History ₰Rhjn was born to the Heilagur village of the Golmore Jungle but she never fit in. From the moments she took her first steps across the tree platforms to the day when she took her final steps away from the village, never to return, she was a rebel. If she could pick an argument in something her elders would say, she would do it. She challenged every rule. Status quo was never good enough for her. She yearned for more, for a life outside the village.When she was just shy of her 123rd birthday, she was on a walk through the jungle and came across a hume encroaching upon their territory. Before she could even get a good look at him, he was struck down by several arrows from the patrols in the trees. The Heilagur village of the jungle was known for its militant views on trespassers and exiles - none not of the tribe were welcome in the village and if you left the territories, you were never allowed back on pain of death. For his final moments, Rhjn cradled his head and looked down into his eyes - purple, like her own. She had never seen a hume before and, in that moment, all her frustrations with the way things were done with the village became fueled into a burning inferno in her heart. She hated her people and could not abide by the life she lived any longer.Before he took his final breath, he whispered one word: "Ymir". It was inscribed on the blade of his gunblade beside him as well. Thinking that his name, she took it into her heart and held it there. That night, she returned to the village for the last time. She gathered supplies in the middle of the night, said goodbye to her sister Ysera with whom she was closest to, and then disappeared into the darkness never to return.After weeks of travel, she found herself in Doma. Poor, low on supplies and desperate for a warm place to sleep, she wandered the villages until she made it to a confederacy village. There she made a trade: passage to Hingashi and Kugane, with food and shelter, in exchange for a night of her body. Having nothing else to trade, she agreed and the next night she found herself on the streets of Kugane.Still she had no job, no way to receive an income, but on the suggestion of one of the confederacy sailors, she was introduced to a brothel owner who found her exotic body a rare treasure for his business. Once again, this time for a much longer term, she agreed to trade her body for food, clothing, and lodgings.She served in the brothel for ten years before she saved up enough money to travel away from Kugane and go West where she heard there was plenty of excitement and adventure waiting. She wanted something new.Now an established courtesan, and very skilled at that, she sought work at another western brothel. She worked there until she was approached by another courtesan who wanted to branch off on her own and start her own establishment. Excited to work in management and expand her personal prospects, she joined her and together they build up the Wyldmyst Lotus brothel.
